After Oo Antava, Samantha refuses another item number in Pushpa 2: Reports

Stylish star Allu Arjun’s 'Pushpa: The Rise' became a PAN-India success, thanks to Allu’s flamboyance & swagger, dialogues, slick-action and music score. Apart from Allu’s swagger, Samantha’s Oo Antava caught the pulse of the nation.

The hot dance number featuring the hottest Samantha went on to become a rage and party anthem. Even today, parties are incomplete without the item song playing in clubs, discos and marriages.

Meanwhile, the makers of Pushpa are planning for a second part, much larger-than-life than the first part. They are leaving no stones unturned to make the movie a rage like RRR and Baahubali franchise.

However, if reports are to go by, the gorgeous Samantha has reportedly turned down an offer for another item song in 'Pushpa: The Rule.' Director Sukumar had approached her for a special dance number in the sequel, but the Citadel actress had reportedly rejected the offer.

Reports suggest the makers are currently ‘trying hard’ to convince her and have also created a small role for her in the movie. However, the actress stated that she is apparently not ready to do special numbers at this point of her career, as reported by ETimes.

But fans would love to see her in another sizzling dance number and shake a leg with everyone’s favourite Pushpa (Allu Arjun).

On the professional front, Samantha is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie Shakuntalam. She will also make her debut in Bollywood with Citadel, also starring Varun Dhawan.

On the other hand, Allu Arjun is reportedly filming 'Pushpa: The Rule' in Russia. The nation’s crush Rashmika Mandanna will reprise her role as Srivalli in the second part too.
