The surge in online frauds and account hacks has left several celebrities targeted by imposters. Recently, Dhanashree Varma had to alert her followers after someone attempted to impersonate her. Now, actress Nikki Tamboli has stepped forward, revealing that a fraudulent agency is misusing her name to extort money.

Nikki Tamboli Issues a Warning

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Nikki shared an urgent message for her fans and brands. She wrote, “Hello my fans and friends. There’s one fraud agency, people who are trying to get brands and money in my name and without my permission. They have also sent some mails saying that I am going to do everything for free for the travel agent etc. etc."

She further assured her followers that more details will come to light soon, stating.

“A lot of other things I am going to expose very soon. Please be aware. We are shooting everything about that, and it will be on our Insta handle very soon. Thanks," she concluded.

Recent Controversy with Usha Nadkarni

Nikki’s name has also been in the headlines due to remarks made by veteran actress Usha Nadkarni, widely known for her role in Pavitra Rishta. 

In a podcast with Pinkvilla, when asked about Nikki Tamboli, Usha expressed clear disapproval and said, “She is a huge star, according to her; in her eyes, we are nobody, so let’s not talk about her. I don’t talk too much to big people, because they don’t talk, and she never mixed around."

Reacting to these comments, Nikki put out a dignified statement. She clarified,
“I have huge respect for Usha ji. Just because you are senior and I am junior, and I don’t flatter you or say yes to everything, doesn’t mean you can say anything about me. Please don’t judge me as egoistic—I know my personality and so do my fans. Apart from the respect I have for you, no one else has the right to judge me."

Highlighting her hard-earned success, Nikki added, “It’s not easy to come out as the first runner-up in such a tough show. But I did it by being myself. It’s not in my nature to flatter people for acceptance. My fans love me for the person I truly am, and that emotional bond with them is my real strength."
