After Deepika Padukone now Salman Khan to join Rohit Shetty's cop universe?

Rohit Shetty’s cop universe includes the hottest Bollywood superstars from Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh. Now Deepika Padukone will be joining this cop universe in Singham Again which will see Ajay as the male hero.

Even though Rohit’s earlier movies from the cop universe including the Singham series, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi have been big hits, Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series remains the most badass character of a cop portrayed on the Indian big screen.

So recently when the team of Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film Cirkus visited the Bigg Boss 16 platform, Varun Sharma asked the Chennai Express director whether Chulbul Pandey is going to be a part of the cop universe anytime soon. Without any hesitation, Rohit Shetty replied, “110%.” Now fans are speculating whether Salman will be a part of the upcoming Ajay Devgn and Deepika movie in a cameo or Rohit is planning an entirely different movie with the superstar.

And if this comes true, it will be interesting to see how Rohit who has presented his other Bollywood heroes as cops in different avatars will present Salman Khan as the cop. Even earlier Rohit had said that it was Salman’s Wanted that made his shift from comedy to action movies and that he would like to work with the Tubelight actor one day.

Rohit Shetty’s upcoming release Cirkus stars Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in double roles, with Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez as the female leads. The movie is loosely based on the old classic Angoor directed by Gulzar in which Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma played double roles. It also stars some seasoned comedians like Johnny Lever, Murali Sharma, and more and has Deepika Padukone making a special appearance alongside Ranveer in the now hit song current laga.

To date, most of the Rohit Shetty movies have been hits and superhits and the same is expected of Cirkus. However, the trade reports suggest that the advance booking for this film is not picking up as expected and this response is entirely opposite to what is expected of a Rohit Shetty movie.
