News Highlights

  • Anushka Shetty and Prabhas are reportedly reuniting for Raja Deluxe.
  • The official announcement is expected to be made during Dasara this year.

Anushka Shetty has been away from the limelight for a long time. She had only one release Nishabhdham post the massive success of Baahubali movies. Her pair with Rebel star Prabhas has always been loved by the audience and there has been a buzz going around that they will soon come together for a new movie.

Now, the latest report is that Anushka Shetty has finally given her nod for a new project which will star the Tollywood superstar Prabhas in the lead.

Tentatively titled Raja Deluxe, the movie will be directed by Maruthu and the official announcement of the same will be made during Dasara this year. The movie will also have two other leading ladies. The makers are yet to finalize the names of these actresses. Most probably, the producers will rope in one Bollywood actress to add more value to the project.

Director Maruthu has already started working on the story and is expected to narrate the final draft to Prabhas in the upcoming few months. Reportedly, Maruthu is being assisted by a few more writers so that they can create content appealing enough to present Prabhas and Anushka Shetty. The movie will be produced by DVV Danayya and is expected to be shot in 2 to 3 schedules.

Prabhas is currently busy with multiple projects. After the debacle of Radhe Shyam, it is important for the superstar that all his upcoming movies win the hearts of the audience. Currently, he is working with KGF fame director Prashanth Neel for Salaar and with Nag Ashwin for Project K. He has already wrapped a few schedules for the mythological epic Adipurush directed by Om Raut.

On the other hand, Anushka Shetty is currently not working on any project and seems to be focusing more on her personal life these days.
