‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor Ranveer Singh is in the headlines after a few of his pictures from a nude photoshoot surfaced on social media. The media is abuzz about it and several celebrities are responding to questions on the photos.

Ranveer’s Gunday co-star Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Urfi Javed were among the celebrities who had reacted to the pictures. Now, actress Vidya Balan and Jhanvi Kapoor have come out in his support.

Speaking on the backlash Ranveer is facing for the photoshoot, Jhanvi said, “Ranveer choosing to pose naked for the magazine was his artistic freedom and he should not be punished for it.” 

Jhanvi was attending an event in Delhi, when she defended Ranveer and his freedom as an artiste. Similarly, actress Vidya Balan had a cool response.

“Humein bhi aankhen sekhne dijiye na” (Let us also please our eyes a little),” the actress replied. Needless to say, her response left everyone around her in splits.

Earlier, Alia Bhatt who is prepping up for her upcoming flick Darlings, had also expressed her support for her Gully Boy co-star. During a promotional event, the media dug deeper to know her opinion about Ranveer's recent stunt of going nude for the photoshoot.

The Raazi actress in response said, "I won't like anything negative said about my favourite Ranveer Singh. I can't tolerate such questions. I love him. He will be eternally favourite to everyone of us actually and he has given us so much in movies. We should only give him love."

Though Ranveer's move of going nude for the photoshoot has received sharp criticism from different quarters, many of his admirers, friends and co-stars have extended support to him. 

The '83' actor is well known for his weird fashion statement. Bigg Boss OTT fame Urfi Javed, who also shares a similar interest in Ranveer, appreciated him and expressed her interest to become his second wife.
