Adipurush’s first song ‘Jai Shri Ram’ gives goosebumps, becomes most viewed video in 24 hours

The first song of the much-awaited film ‘Adipurush’ has been released and become the most-viewed video on YouTube in the last 24 hours.

Composed by award-winning music composer duo Ajay and Atul Gogavale, the song ‘Jai Shri Ram’ shows the journey of Lord Ram (played by Prabhas) to bring back his beloved Janaki (played by Kriti Sanon). With the lyrics of Manoj Muntashir, the song has been released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

The song has beaten Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kya Loge Tum’ to become the most-viewed video on YouTube in last 24 hours. 

Helmed by director Om Raut, the magnum opus is based on Ramayana, the movie is scheduled for release on June 16. The movie stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage while actor Saif Ali Khan will be seen as the antagonist Lankesh.

The film was slated to release in January, however, it received heavy backlash on social media for its poor VFX and CGI. Later, the makers postponed the movie and reworked on the VFX and released the trailer on May 9 which has been garnering lots of love online. 

The trailer of the movie became the most viewed Hindi trailer in the first 24 hours.
