A couple of days ago, reports were abuzz that 'The Kerala Story' actress Adah Sharma purchased late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's flat in Bandra. However, the actress recently opened up about renting SSR's flat and her experience at the new place.

Adah Sharma stole the limelight and became the talk of the town after she wooed the fans with her powerful performance in Sudipto Sen's The Kerala Story. She was in the headlines for 'Bastar: The Naxal Story.' Meanwhile, she also drew everyone's attention after reports surfaced that she purchased the late actor's flat. Notably, after SSR passed away in June 2020, for more than three years, the flat was struggling to find a tenant. However, Adah signed the lease agreement in October 2023 and kept the matter quite low-key.

Recently, during an interview with Bombay Times, Adah opened up about renting the flat.

The actress said she moved into the flat (Mont Blanc Apartments, Bandra) four months ago. However, she has been busy ever since promoting Bastar and The Kerala Story’s OTT release. Later, she spent some time at the elephant sanctuary in Mathura.

Now, she has finally settled in her current flat with her mother and grandmother.

She was quoted as saying, "It’s only recently that I got some time off and have finally settled in. I have lived in the same house at Pali Hill (Bandra) all my life and this is the first time I’ve moved out of there. I’m very sensitive to vibes, and this place gives me positive ones.”

Further, Adah said that her previous houses in Kerala, and Mumbai were surrounded by trees. There she used to feed birds and squirrels. So, she wanted a house with a view and ample space to feed birds.

When Adah was asked, if she was ever unsure of renting SSR's flat due to its history, she said, “I always follow my intuition, not other people’s opinions. Many people had tried to scare me away from starting my career with a horror movie (1920), but I did it and scared them instead (smiles). They dissuaded me from being a part of The Kerala Story, too, and the kind of numbers the film made is for all to see.”

On the work front, Adah will be next seen in The Game of Girgit.
