How far would you go for love? Actress Jasmine Rath who is known for her mesmerizing performances in Odia tele soaps and music videos has fallen in love and can do anything for the sake of her love. 

Love is all about sacrifice and compromise, Jasmine believes so. That’s why Jasmine is ready to do anything to make her relationship work.

Jasmine who is all set to make debut in Odia film industry as a lead female protagonist in movie 'Hi Krushna' opposite to Sailendra will be seen essaying the role of a girl who can do anything for her love. Let’s get candid with actress Jasmine to know more about her and her very first project.

Upon being asked the reason behind the reasons behind signing the project, she says, “I found my character is exactly what I am in real life. For me, it’s the script. It’s the character that excites me. Besides, in many Odia films heroines are used as property in films. However, I won’t be seen as a property in Hi Krushna movie. In the movie, heroine’s character is equally important as hero. That’s why I signed the movie.”

About her character, Jasmine said, “My character’s name is Anu in the movie. Anu belongs to a middle class family. She falls in love with spoiled brat Jeet (Sailendra’s onscreen name in the movie). Anu and Jeet are childhood friends. Jeet will be seen as a hardcore smoker, drunkard and irresponsible son.  Anu leaves no stone unturned to change Jeet and bring him to right path. In the meantime, a nine-month old Krushna comes to their life and the rest you will come to know after watching the movie.”

Produced under the banner of Tarang Cine Productions, the movie is slated to be released during Janmastami. Music of the movie has been scored by Bunny-Gaurav. 

Produced by Manoj Mishra and Chinmay Mishra, Happy Chandan has donned director’s hat while dialogues have been penned by Pranab Rath. 

Apart from Sailendra and Jasmine, the film features Akash Hota, Bapi, Sukant Rath, Mamuni Barik, Sweta Acharya, Subhransu Nayak, Rakhee Dash, Prasanjeet Mohapatra, Manoj Mishra (apecial appearance), Nandu Master, Ananya, Pooja Priyadarshini, Kaushik, Soubhagya and Poppin Dibya.
