Actor Shine Tom Chacko flees from hotel during raid amid Vincy Aloshious' allegations Watch

More often sensational things that happen in movies never really occur in real life. That is why it was shocking when actor Shine Tom Chacko’s behaviour seemed directly lifted from a scene in a movie after he fled from his hotel room during a police raid in Kochi. The normal raid action became dramatic and entertaining when the CCTV footage was aired by several television channels.

Actor Shine Tom Chacko can be seen jumping from the third floor to the second along with his two companions as he got to know that police were raiding the Kochi hotel. From the second floor, he can be seen jumping into the swimming pool finally taking the stairs and escaping through reception.

The raid took place on Wednesday, April 16 around midnight and was carried out by the District Anti-Narcotic Special Action Force of Kerala police. The squad failed to find any illegal substance in the room where the actor stayed but right now he is absconding and the police are trying to find him.

The incident becomes all the more significant because it happened almost immediately after Vincy Aloshious , the Malayalam actress said publicly that she would not be working with an actor who took drugs on the sets. Later on, she also filed a complaint with the Kerala Film Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (A.M.M.A) regarding the use of the drug by a co-actor during the shoot.

Co-actor Vincy accused of taking drugs is Shine?

Vincy Aloshious also explained the reason behind taking this stand and shared how an actor under the influence of drugs misbehaved with her on the set. However, Vincy has not given the name of this particular co-actor. Nonetheless, A.M.M.A officials have told the media that the co-star Vincy is talking about is none other than Shine Tom Chacko who worked with the actress in her upcoming movie Soothravakyam.

The mother of Shine, Maria said to the media, “Did they (the DANSAF team) find anything in his room? I know him well. He might have been frightened. The police were not in uniform.” The actor was earlier arrested for drug possession in February 2025.
