Abhishek Bachchan-Saiyami Kher's Ghoomer gets a thumbs up from the ‘God of Cricket’

Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher's sports drama "Ghoomer" has captured the hearts of both audiences and critics alike. The film's compelling storyline has garnered enthusiastic reviews, drawing praise from notable figures such as cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle, along with cricketers Virender Sehwag and Ajinkya Rahane.

Joining the list of admirers is none other than cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. The 'Master Blaster' took to social media to share his admiration for the film. In a video message, Tendulkar expressed that "Ghoomer" is an incredibly inspiring movie, especially for young individuals passionate about the game of cricket. He emphasised the profound life lessons the film conveys, particularly the importance of perseverance and determination, regardless of the challenges faced. 

“I just saw Ghoomer and it is an extremely inspiring movie. Passion, will, dreams, jaha bhi ho, vaha boundary line nhi hoti [there is no boundary line]. Over the years in real life also I have realised that you know there are ups and downs in life. And this is exactly what this movie shows us. But through sports, we learn so many lessons. Failures, injuries and disappointments – they teach you a lot in life, and this is what this movie is about. I would say for youngsters also, this movie can teach you so much. That to never give up in life, and overcome all the challenges. There will be challenges, un challenges ko jeetna hi toh maza hai [that beating the odds is fun],” Tendulkar was quoted saying.
