In one of the interviews, when the host mentioned a cricket match that was played between Aamir and Salman Khan ’s teams decades ago, the Dil Chahta Hai actor got nostalgic and shared a few details.

Years ago, when Aamir and Salman were young, they represented two cricket teams – Pali Hill XI Vs Kutte XI, respectively. At that time, neither of them was a star. Recalling the same, Aamir Khan said, “Accha muzhe team ka naam yaad nahi hai. Haan par ek match huwa tha. Salman ki team thi aur hamari team thi aur I think Andrews mein hua tha. Saint Andrews mein humne woh match khela tha.”

“Woh match hum log kutte ki tarah hare the. Towards the last few overs unko kuch last overs rahe gaye the aur. Ya last over chal raha tha aur unko kafi saare run chahiye the. Aur Salman aya tha batting karne. Usne ek do chhakke mare the. Muzhe yaad hai. That’s why they had won that match,” he added.
