From being the ‘Darling’ of South Industry to the Baahubali of pan-India movies, Rebel star Prabhas has come a long way in his career span of 20 years.

The down-to-earth actor has established himself as one of the highest-paid actors, thanks to his movie choices and loyal fan base. With huge-budget movies, he is likely to expand his market to Hollywood.

On Saturday, the ‘Adipurush’ actor completed 20 years in the film industry and fans celebrated the milestone in a unique way. As a tribute to the ‘Darling’ star, theatres in Telangana re-released his blockbuster movie ‘Varsham’ for his fans.

As expected, theatres had a bustling crowd as fans went crazy hooting and cheering after seeing the ‘Mirchi’ star on the big screen.

However, it was actress Trisha Krishnan who grabbed all the attention. Varsham was Trisha’s first film and the actress turned emotional after videos of fans going crazy in the re-release event went viral.

She shared her feelings on Instagram and wrote, “My heart is full.”

Trisha took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “18 years later. A re-release.. My first Telugu film.. Still feels like yesterday…”

She went on to add, “Just goes to prove films are forever and I repeat for the 9456743 times ‘I’m because of you all.”

Trisha was a model and beauty pageant winner before foraying into movies. Varsham gave her the recognition she deserved and there has been no turning back for her. She is one of the few actresses who has worked with all the superstars down south.

Recently, she was seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan-1 also starring the gorgeous Aiswarya Rai, Karti, Vikram, and Jayam Ravi.

On the other hand, Prabhas will be seen in 'Salaar' which is all set to be released in 2023, and 'Adipurush' in which the actor will be seen with Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan. He also has 'Project K' with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone and Spirit with Kabir Singh fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
