Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and RRR, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli are among the few Indians to have made it to Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2023 list.

SRK roared at the box office with the momentous success of Pathaan while Rajamouli had a great year with the Oscars for RRR.

As a tribute to her favourite actor, actress Deepika Padukone penned an emotional note for her ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor.

Her note read, “I will never forget the first time I met Shah Rukh Khan. I had just arrived in Mumbai from Bangalore with one suitcase and a dram. The next thing I knew, I was sitting in his house! I was being considered for a role in a film opposite him.”

“It’s been 16 years since. What makes our relationship special is the love, trust and respect we have for one another. Shah Rukh Khan will forever be known as one of the greatest actors of all time. But what truly sets him apart is his mind, his chivalry, his generosity and the list goes on.”

“For someone who has known him intimately and cares for him deeply, 150 words will never do justice to the phenomenon that is Shah Rukh Khan.”

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan returned to the big screen after a long gap and delivered Pathaan which is breaking many box office records. He also has Jawan and Dunki which are expected to be sure-shot blockbuster movies as per the hype.

SRK is teaming up with Tamil director Atlee for Jawan while Dunki will be helmed by Munna Bhai MBBS and 3 Idiots director Rajkumar Hirani.
