'Not seeking stardom'-Tripti Dimri reacts to 320% increase in her Instagram following

Tripti Dimri’s fan following has increased in a big way after the release of Animal. She has gained millions of Instagram followers within a few days from Animal’s release. Talking to News 18 the Bubbbul actress said that her family members and friends keep on sharing the screenshots whenever the Instagram follower count shows a rise.

Importantly, Tripti Dimri feels lucky to receive so much love and recognition but mentioned in the interview that she is not seeking stardom. In the last more than a fortnight, the Instagram followers of Tripti have increased by 320% and now she has an IG following of 3.9 million. Before the release of Animal, the actress’ Instagram following was just 6, 00,000.

The new National Crush of India said that her family and friends are keeping track of her following and every night she checks the screenshots sent by them showing an increase in her follower count. The Bhabhi No 2 in Animal said, “ It’s a wonderful feeling. You obviously feel great when people watch something you’ve done and they like and appreciate your performance in it. I’m in a good space."

Animal is not the first movie of Tripti and previously she has worked in many other good movies like Bulbbul and Qala. But the kind of attention and recognition that she received for her role of Zoya in Animal was unexpected even for the actress. Tripti Dimri said she was not looking for attention when she decided to work for Animal.

The actress said, “I just wanted to do Animal because the character was interesting. Achieving this kind of success wasn’t a plan. It just happened and I feel very lucky and grateful. I’m not seeking stardom."

Apart from Tripti, the movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna , Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor in important roles.
