However, despite doing a lot of big projects, Priya used to live in a chawl in Mumbai for 25 years where she grew up as a child. Priya only moved out of the chawl after she married actor Umesh Kamat.

Revisiting her good old days, the gorgeous beauty told TOI, “I have spent almost 25 years of my life in that chawl. From celebrating Diwali together to playing games with my friends, this chawl has given me a lot of memories.”

“The specialty of this chawl is that all the houses on a floor are connected to each other internally through doors. So, it is easily possible to go from one house to another without getting out of the house. This system kept all the families on the floor connected to each other,” she added.

She has also shared several pictures of the chawl on her Instagram handle and proudly called it her home.

Recently, Priya shared a picture and wrote, “Stay grounded, connected to your roots. Always remember where you come from, where you belong. Home, where I grew up, which made me what I am today.”
