‘Chup Kar’: Maniesh Paul reveals how Akshay Kumar shouted at him during his struggle days

Maniesh Paul is a very popular name and is synonymous with the field of anchoring. The young Delhi boy has carved a niche for himself as a television presenter, anchor, model, singer, actor, and comedian.

He started his career as an RJ and VJ and has now moved to acting. He has acted in a couple of movies and was recently seen in a web series. The dashing actor has come a long way with his sheer determination and hard work. However, there was a time when Maniesh too was a struggler trying hard to make it big in the film industry.

Recalling an incident, Maniesh recently revealed how superstar Akshay Kumar shouted at him during his initial days. He mentioned that he was really embarrassed after the incident.

However, he added that it was a funny anecdote and happened when he was hosting a show and Akshay Kumar was stepping down the stage.

Maniesh stopped him and asked, “Akshay sir ek dialogue to bol dijiye (at least say a dialogue).”

Akshay Kumar then turned back and said, “Chup Kar(shut up)” in a stern tone. This left Maniesh sweating and terrified as he was just beginning his career.

“I was so embarrassed that bezzati hogayi (I’ve been insulted),” Maniesh revealed.

However, Maniesh handled the situation properly which also impressed Akshay who later praised him.

Meanwhile, Maniesh Paul has been treating his fans with his amazing performance in his debut web series ‘Rafuchakkar’. Playing a con artist, Maniesh has done a condemnable job with five different looks throughout the show.
