Rishi Sunak created history after he was declared the first Indian-origin Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Congratulatory messages poured in from all quarters for the youngest PM of UK.

Politicians and celebrities also took to their social media handles to congratulate him with heartfelt messages. The leader of the ruling Conservative Party is the first person of colour to serve as prime minister in Britain.

However, singer Alisha Chinai went a few notches up and shared an Insta reel of Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy, featuring them as Lord Ram and Sita.

In the monochrome clip shared by Alisha Chinai, Rishi Sunak and Akshata Murthy were portrayed as Lord Ram and Sita. The clip has Alisha Chinai’s song Chamkega India playing in the background.

The clip has been viewed over 72K times. However, the video has not gone well with a few netizens who trended #ArrestAlishaChinai on Twitter.

The video received attention after fact checker Mohammed Zubair shared it on his Twitter handle. Angry netizens also slammed Zubair for sharing the reels.

Meanwhile, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor also congratulated Rishi in a unique way. He posted a collage pic of a still of Aamir Khan from the movie Lagaan and a pic of Sunak and wrote, "Lagaan se Lagaam tak. Sirf 75 saal mein. Jai Hind. "

Rishi Sunak, the investment banker turned politician, is the second-youngest prime minister in the history of the UK, behind David Cameron. After Liz Truss resigned from the position after 45 days of being appointed, Rishi was elected as the 57th Prime Minister of Britain.
