Visitor’s Award 2023: Check last date and other important details

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has released a notification regarding Visitor’s Award 2023. Instituted in 2014, the Visitor’s Awards are given to recognize excellence in research and innovation of faculty members/researchers of the Central Universities and motivate them to adopt best practices from around the world in pursuit of excellence.

The President, in her capacity as the Visitor of Central Universities, presents the Awards.

Details of Awards

Citation and cash reward will be presented to the winning entry.

The total value of the cash reward is Rs 2.5 lakh. If there are two or more recipients, the cash reward is subject to the condition that, each awardee will receive a minimum of Rs 1 lakh.

Who can apply

Applications are invited from the faculty members and researchers of all Central Universities, where the President of India is the Visitor.
