Lucknow boy Aditya Srivastava, who topped the recently announced Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2023, announced by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), has shared his marksheet online. Days after the announcement of the results, Aditya shared his marksheet that shows his subject-wise marks in the competitive exam.

Going by the marksheet, he has secured an impressive 117 marks in Essay (Paper-1), 104 in General Studies – 1 (Paper-II), 132 marks in General Studies – II (Paper-III), 095 in General Studies – III (Paper-IV), 143 in General Studies-IV (Paper V), 148 in Optional-I (Electrical Engineering) Paper- VI, 160 in Optional-II (Electrical Engineering) Paper-VIII.

With this, his written total stands at 899 marks and he has secured a total of 200 marks on the personality test. His final total mark is 1099 marks.

However, it wasn’t a journey of cakewalk for Aditya to become the topper of UPSC CSE 2023. Hailing from Lucknow, Aditya did his schooling at CMS Aliganj and later obtained an integrated B.Tech and M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur.

Despite being an IIT Kanpur passout, he could have easily secured a high-paying lucrative job in some MNC, but Aditya decided to give UPSC a try. However, his first attempt went horribly as he could not even clear his prelims.

His hard work paid off during his second attempt and he secured an impressive AIR-236 to become an IPS officer. However, it was his dream to become an IAS officer and he continued to work tirelessly to fulfill his aim.

Even as he was under training as an IPS officer, he took time out of his busy schedule and continued his IAS preparation. He gave his third attempt and not only became an IAS but also went on to top the UPSC CSE 2023.
