The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the much-awaited UGC NET December 2021 & June 2022 (Merged Cycles).

The UGC NET was conducted in 4 Phases up to October 22 at 837 centres in 239 cities across the country. As per NTA, the examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for 82 Subjects (including multiple shifts exams for Bengali, Commerce, English, Hindi, History, Kannada, Malayam, Oriya and Political Science).

“A total no. of 544485 Candidates appeared out of which 43246 candidates qualified eligibility for Assistant Professor while 8955 Candidates are declared qualified for JRF and eligible for Assistant Professor,” announced NTA.

Important Highlights

It is clarified that 6 per cent of those candidates who appear in both the papers and obtain minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of both the papers are declared NET qualified as per the UGC policy.

The slots of JRFs of both UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 cycles have been merged while the methodology for subject-wise-cum category-wise allocation of JRFs remains unchanged.

Subject/Category Wise Cut-off

The cut off percentile for Assistant professor is 97.07 % for unreserved category in Political Science subject.

The cut off percentile for Assistant Professor is 98.21% for unreserved category in History Subject.

The cut off percentile for Assistant Professor is 98.15 for Assistant professor and for Jrf and Assistant Professor the cut off percentile is 99.68.

Assistant professor EWS: 91.73
