UGC-NET June 2024 Examination cancelled: Education Ministry

In a major decision, the Ministry of Education cancelled the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination. The Ministry informed about the decision on Wednesday evening in a press release. 

The Ministry stated that the exam was cancelled on the basis of inputs from Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, prima-facie indicating that the integrity of the examination may have been compromised.

Fresh Examination 

The Ministry informed that fresh examination shall be conducted, for which information shall be shared separately.

Moreover, the matter is being handed over to CBI for thorough investigation in the matter, the press release read.
