The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for submission of online application form for the UGC– NET December 2022.

The extension has been made in view of the representations from candidates as they could not upload the photo/documents and could not make payment of requisite application fee due to heavy rush on the last date.

As per NTA, UGC-NET December 2022 will be conducted for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor (AP).

Revised Timeline

Online Submission of Application Form: 21-23 January 2023 (up to 05.00PM)

Successful Final Transaction of Application Fees: January 23, 2023 (up to 11.50 PM)

NTA has advised candidates to ensure that all information entered during the online registration process is correct as no correction facility will be provided.

Instructions

Candidates should carefully go through the instructions regarding filling out the online application form.

Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided are their own or parents/guardians only as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number.

In another development, the NTA has released the admit cards for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2023 Session 1.

Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2023 Session 1 is scheduled to be conducted at different centres located in 290 cities throughout the country and 18 cities outside India on 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 January; and 1 February 2023 for B.E./B.Tech (Paper I) and 28 January (2nd Shift) for B.Arch and B.Planning (Paper 2A & Paper 2B).
