The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday announced the results of the UGC-NET (National Eligibility Test) December 2020 and June 2021 examinations. 

Candidates can access their results by visiting the official website of UGC NET- ugcnet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.  

The NTA has issued two servers to enable a hassle-free check of the results. Candidates can check results on both Server 1 and Server 2 by entering the required credentials. 

UGC NET is conducted by the NTA to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of assistant professor and award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

The minimum qualifying mark for UGC NET 2021 examination is 40 per cent for unreserved category candidates and 35 per cent for reserved category candidates. Candidates will have to pass each paper separately. 

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UGC-NET December-2020 could not be conducted. Subsequently, the UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles were conducted together by National Testing Agency (NTA) between November 20, 2021, and January 5, 2022. 

The UGC-NET was conducted in 81 subjects at 837 centres spread across 239 cities in the country. More than 12 lakh candidates had registered for UGC-NET.

Steps to Check UGC NET Results: 

Go to the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in
Click on View Result (Server I, Server II)
Enter Application Number, Date of Birth, Enter Security Pin and submit 
Result will appear on the screen
