The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the dates for the re-exam of University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. 

The test is scheduled to be held from August 21 to September 4. The re-examination of UGC NET will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format.

The purpose of the exam is to assess the eligibility of candidates for positions in PhD, JRF and Assistant Professor in recognised universities.
Earlier, the exam was conducted was conducted on June 18, 2024 but was cancelled a day later. The cancellation came into action with speculation of possible question paper leak and compromised integrity of the exam conducting body.

The NTA is expected to release the admit card soon. Interested and eligible candidates are advised to visit the official website for further details, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Steps to download the admit card for the re-exam of UGC NET

  • Visit the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in

  • Tap on the Admit Card section in the homepage

  • Provide your login credentials to gain access to the admit card

  • Download and save the admit card for future references

Students are advised to carefully read the instructions mentioned in the admit card and carry the required documents. Aspirants are informed to visit the examination centre prior to the exam date to avoid any confusion or delay in reaching the centre on the day of the test.
