This IPS officer left cricket to crack UPSC exam and cleared it in first attempt

The most loved IPS officer is an exemplary inspiration and has motivated many with his hard work and dedication. As per a report in DNA India, Sachin, who was born to an IFS officer, holds a degree in B.Com. However, he always dreamt of becoming an IPS officer and started preparing for the UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) right after his graduation.

With her hard work, consistency and determination, he cleared the exam with 258th rank in his very first attempt. He was only 22 years old when he cracked one of India’s toughest exams and chose to become an IPS officer.

Before that, he was also a national-level cricketer player. However, he quit cricket to focus on his dream of becoming an IPS officer and his efforts paid off. 

Apart from being a cricket lover, Sachin is also a fitness freak and promotes sports and exercise. He follows a strict exercise routine. He also has a gold medal in horse riding. He is believed to be one of the most loved IPS officers with over 1 million followers on Instagram.
