In a major embarrassment, photo of actress Sunny Leone found on the admit card of a student appearing for Karnataka Teachers’ Eligibility Test-2022.
A screenshot of the TET exam hall ticket is now going viral on social media platforms. A candidate from Koppa under Chikmagalur district had reportedly applied for a TET post in Shivamogga.
According to Deccan Herald, the candidate had replaced the photo of the actress with hers on the admit card with the help of the officials of the Department of Public Instruction but due to some issues, the change did not reflect.
Later, the candidate was allowed to appear for the exam by pasting her photograph on the spot.
Meanwhile, chairperson of Karnataka Congress' social media, BR Naidu on Tuesday took to Twitter and lashed out at the Karnataka state education department.
"In the teacher's recruitment hall ticket, instead of the candidate's photo, the education department had printed the photo of Blue film actress Sunny Leone. What can we expect from the party which watched blue films inside the assembly," Naidu tweeted.
However, the Karnataka education department claimed that it is not responsible for the error and has filed a police complaint.
Basing on the complaint, Shivamogga cyber unit has already launched a probe into the entire incident.
