Sambalpur University Plus 3 third year exam cancelled after question paper leaked, goes viral

The Sambalpur University authorities on Thursday canceled the Plus 3 third year education (Hons) examination after the question paper reportedly leaked and went viral on social media.

The varsity authorities confirmed that the question paper of educational management and leadership subject that went viral in the morning matched the original question paper. 

The authorities assured that a probe will be conducted to ascertain the circumstances leading to the leak of the question paper. It added that FIR will be lodged against the employees and officials responsible and action will be taken.

The cancelled examination will be conducted afresh and the date will be notified later, the varsity authorities added.

Rabindra Panigrahi, Controller of Examinations, Sambalpur University said, "After the matter came to notice, we immediately sent emails to the college authorities not to distribute the question paper among the students and cancel the examination." 

"We summoned the paper setter and recommended the VC to take strong action against him. We will lodge FIR against him and action will be taken. He will be disengaged from service from the university permanently," Panigrahi added.
