The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for the online application for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination 2022 (AISSEE) till November 5, 2021 (5 pm).
Earlier, the last date to apply for the Class 6 and 9 All India Sanik Sanik School entrance exam was October 26, 2021 (5 pm).
Similarly, the last date for the payment of exam fees has been revised from October 26 to November 5, the NTA said in a public notice released recently.
The correction window for the students which would allow them to correct information filled in the application form was scheduled to open from October 28 to November 2. After the revision that has been extended from November 7 to November 10, added the NTA in the release.

“However, there would be no change in the date of exam. It will be held on January 1, 2022, as per schedule,” read the NTA notification.
The NTA has asked the candidates to remain in touch with NTA website- https://aissee.nta.nic.in for updates regarding the exam.
The NTA further stated that candidates may also call NTA Help Desk- 011 4075 9000 or write to NTA at aissee@nta.ac.in for clarifications.
AISSEE 2022 Eligibility:
The candidate applying for the exam for admission into Class 6 should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31 March 2022 while the age of students seeking admission to Class 9 should be between 13 and 15 years.
Examination Fee:
Candidates belonging to unreserved or general category, wards of defense personnel, ex-servicemen and the non-creamy layer of OBC, will have to pay an application fee of Rs 550. Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe categories will have to pay Rs 400.
AISSEE 2022 Exam Pattern:
NTA will be conducting the AISSEE 2022 in pen-paper on OMR answer sheets in 176 cities across India. The paper will be in the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) pattern. The duration for the entrance exam of Class 6 is 150 minutes from 2 pm to 4:30 pm while for the Class 9 test, the duration is 180 minutes from 2 pm to 5 pm.
AISSEE 2022 Selection Process:
The applicant who secures a minimum of 25 per cent marks in each subject and 40 per cent marks in an overall aggregate of all subjects of the AISSEE exam will be eligible for admission in Sainik Schools.
How to apply for AISSEE 2022
Step 1: Visit the official site of NTA AISSEE at aissee.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on AISSEE 2022 link available on the home page.
Step 3: Register for Online Application Form. Enter the login details and fill in the application form by giving the required information.
Step 4: Make the payment by Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI/Paytm Services and click on submit.
Step 5: Download the confirmation page and keep the hard copy of the same for future reference.

NTA will be conducting the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE)-2022 for admission to Class VI and Class IX in 33 Sainik Schools across the country, for the academic year 2022-23.
