In a big relief for teaching aspirants who missed the registration for the second phase of the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET) 2021(2nd), the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has offered another chance to them to fill up forms.

The Board has made the link for the online application process live again on its website www.bseodisha.ac.in from December 23, 2021 to January 4, 2022 midnight.

“After careful consideration, the Board has decided to make the application for the said examination live again from December 23, 2021 to January 4, 2022 midnight for the candidates who could not fill up form or who could not complete the submission process earlier, to apply again for appearing at the OSSTET-2021(2nd),” the BSE said in a notification.

According to the notification, the Board has decided to reactivate the application process after School and Mass Education Department lowered the minimum qualifying percentage for OSSTET from 60 to 45 for General and from 50 to 35 for other categories of candidates.

Earlier, online applications for appearing in the OSSTET-2021(2nd) were invited from November 12, 2021 to November 20, 2021.

The BSE said that candidates who had already filled up forms for the test need not apply again.

“The candidates who had paid the fee but could not complete the submission process need not pay again, but they have to enter into the link and complete the submission of online application. All other guidelines as per previous notification will remain unchanged,” the notification added.

The board has also released the step by step instruction for filling up of online application form for Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET), 2021(2nd) on its website.
