In a bid that could benefit scores of Plus 3 students in Odisha, an academic question bank is being prepared and the Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC) will come up with the same for the students.

The Higher Education Department has written to the National Informatics Centre to develop an integrated web portal for the degree colleges in the state. A meeting in this regard was held on October 4, 2023.

Senior officials said that the uniform web portal for all the colleges under the administrative control of the higher education department and the academic question bank will benefit the students and other stakeholders.

Earlier, the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha had informed to have come up with a question bank for the students of class 12 or Plus II.

In the first phase, the question bank will be available for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. Subsequently, questions in other subjects will be made available to the students and the process is currently underway, CHSE officials said.
