Operation Sindoor
The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education and School and Mass Education department have asked their concerned officials to implement a campaign in support of the nation first. Earlier, the Centre had launched the campaign and issued comprehensive guidelines after the success of ‘Operation Sindoor’.
Now, all Educational Institutions, autonomous bodies, schools are also advised to ensure full follow up as per the following guidelines:
Do not forward, share, or believe any unverified content circulating on social media and messaging platforms.This is a moment of national unity. Extend unwavering support to the Indian Armed Forces, the Government, and national security agencies. Avoid internal blame games and divisive discussions.
Be observant within your neighbourhood, workplace, or social circles.
The enemy may attempt to create internal chaos, incite riots, or stoke communal tensions. Do not engage in communal debates or allow divisive narratives to fester. In case of any local disturbance, prioritize safety and immediately inform authorities.
Educate students and staff about safety protocols to be followed during civil emergencies such as air raids, sabotage threats, or any hostile situations in consultation with local administration. Students and staff may receive basictraining in civil defence measures to protect themselves during an attack.
Be wary of phishing links, fake websites and suspicious emails/messagesclaiming to show exclusive footage or news. Such tactics could be used by enemy cyber cells to gather intelligence or spread malware.
Groups like the National Cadet Corps (NCC) / National Service Scheme (NSS) / Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), which have a presence in Educational Institutions / Autonomous Bodies /schools should participate in this exercise.
Fire Safety arrangements installed in various buildings/campus should be in readiness conditions.
Health facilities in educational Institutions/ autonomous bodies / schools may be kept ready for first aid and emergency response activities, if the need arises.
An evacuation plan needs to be formulated, and a practical mock drill should be conducted to ensure all residents are informed about and prepared for evacuation, if needed.
