The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) cell has announced the tentative schedule for counselling and admission into MBBS/BDS courses for the academic session 2021-22.
As per the timetable, the date for registration and online application uploading of documents for online verification has been set between 12 pm of January 12 and 11.59 pm of January 18, 2022.
January 12-19 has been allotted for responding to queries if required during online verification. Similarly, January 20 has been set for reconciliation of date.
The provisional state merit list of registered candidates will be published on January 24 at 5.00 pm, stated the notification.
The OJEE cell will receive queries raised by the candidates regarding the provisional state merit list on January 25 and 26 while the final state merit list of registered candidates will be published on January 27.
Candidates will be allowed for choice filling and locking from January 30, 10 am onwards which will continue till January 31, 11:59 pm.
The list of first-round allotments will be published on February 3. The candidates can download the allotment letter on the same day.
The allotted candidates will have to report for admission at OJEE cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar in between February 5 to 10. The reporting hours has been set between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on respective dates.
Applicants can withdraw from the admission process between February 5 and 10 during the working hours, i.e. 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The list of vacant seat matrix after first round of counselling will be displayed on February 11.
Candidates can carry out registration for online application and upload documents for online verification for 2nd round between February 11 (11:00 am) and February 12 (11:59 pm).
The revised state merit list will be published on February 15.
The newly registered candidates will be able file their choice and lock it between February 16 (10:00 am) and February 17 (11:59 pm).
The second round allotment will be published on February 19 and the candidates will be able to download the allotment letter on the same date.
The newly allotted candidates need to report for admission at the OJEE cell between February 21 (10:00 am) and February 24 (5:00 pm). They can withdraw from the admission process between February 21 (10:00 am) and February 24 (8:00 pm).
However, OJEE will be announcing the guidelines and schedule for spot-round counselling later.
As per the Court's directives, candidates who have taken admission in the first or second round of counselling (all India/State) are not eligible to participate in spot counselling.
