As expected, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) process of counselling has been deferred for the time being. Such a notification was issued by OJEE chairman on Thursday.

The counselling process has been deferred keeping in view the fact that the process of approval and affiliation of technical /professional institutes of the state by AICTE and University have not been completed.

Similarly, the results of some Universities / Councils / Boards have not been declared yet. The schedule of OJEE counselling will be announced in due course, the latest notification read.

“Candidates, who have secured ranks in the JEE (Main) – 2022 and/or OJEE – 2022 and are interested to take admission in technical / professional institutes (Govt. /Private) of the state, may participate in the OJEE counselling as and when it starts,” the notification added.

Earlier, the last date for submission of online application forms for all the courses under 2nd / Special OJEE, 2022 was extended up to August 14, 2022.

Apart from this, the courses of M. Tech., M. Arch. and M. Plan were included in the 2nd / Special OJEE, 2022 following requests from different quarters.
