OJEE 2025 to begin from May 2; exam schedule, pattern, and timings released
The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2025 will commence on May 2 and continue till May 12, the exam committee announced on Tuesday.
The tests will be conducted as Computer-Based Tests (CBT) across three shifts each day: morning (8:30 am to 10:30 am), afternoon (12:30 pm to 2:30 pm), and evening (4:30 pm to 6:30 pm), allowing flexible scheduling for different programmes.
New inclusion: Nursing courses join the line-up
This year marks a notable change as Basic B.Sc Nursing and other nursing programmes have been included under OJEE for the first time.
Until now, these were managed separately by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET). However, based on DMET’s recommendation, nursing has been integrated into the OJEE framework.
Notably, NEET-qualified candidates will not be eligible for Basic B.Sc Nursing admissions in Odisha.
Exam Schedule
The exams will cover a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate professional programmes, including B.Pharm, MCA, MBA, M.Tech, Integrated MBA, LE (Lateral Entry) Tech and Pharm, M.Arch, M.Plan, and newer film-related streams like B.CAT (Cinematography and Sound Design, Film Editing).
B.Pharm will be held in all three shifts on May 2, while Basic B.Sc Nursing will be tested from May 10 to 11 across all slots.
