The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Odisha has asked all higher secondary schools in the State to conduct induction Class for Plus 2 (Class-XI) students for the academic session 2022-23.

In a letter to principals of all Higher Secondary School in the State, DHSE director Raghuram R lyer said that the induction will be conducted from September 22 to 24.

“I am to say that Induction Class for Class-XI students is to be conducted at your Higher Secondary School from 22nd to 24th September, 2022 in order to accustom the freshers about your institution,” Iyer said.

The institutions have been asked to conduct separate stream wise induction class. The induction class includes welcome address by Principal or senior faculty, brief introduction of the institution by Principal or senior faculty, self-introduction of each subject teacher. 

In addition, information on availability of syllabus, examinations and question pattern will be held during the induction class. 

Distribution of time table, menace of ragging and rules & regulations will also be taught during the class. 

“You are therefore requested to make necessary arrangement for conduct of Induction Class within the scheduled date,” the DHSE director added.
