Odisha scholarship 2023: Application deadline for all categories of scholarships extended, check details 

The Odisha government has announced an extension of deadline for online applications by students for all categories of scholarships awarded by the Higher Education Department.

As per the notification issued by the Higher Education Department, the last date for 'e-Medhabruti' (UG,PG, Technical & Professional Merit), 'Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti' and `Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana' for the year 2022-23 has been extended. 

The extension of deadline will now enable students to submit their applications for 'e-Medhabruti', 'Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti' and `Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana' till February 22. The last date for online validation by heads of institutions/principals is February 28.

In a letter, Higher Education Joint Secretary Prativa Sahu has asked the general manager of OCAC to keep the schemes live on the State Scholarship Portal upto the new extended date.

"Online validation by the Principal / Head of concerned Institutions is mandatory for getting 'e-Medhabruti'. Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti' and 'Gopabandhu Sikhya ahayata Yojana' Scholarship by the eligible students. In case of any problem faced by the Students or Institutes at the time of online application or online validation respectively in the State Scholarship Portal, they may contact at 0674-2396550 or e-mail on scholarshiphed@gmail.com," the Higher Education Department said.
