The Odisha Higher Education Department has released guidelines and dateline for P.G vacant seat admission under project SAMS for the academic session 2022-23 in state public universities and colleges.

As per the notification, CPET 2022 appeared candidates will only be eligible to participate in the vacant seat admission round.

The state-wide provisional merit list published earlier for CPET 2022 will not be taken into consideration. The students, who have taken CLC/ULC for any reason, during the Phase 1 (first, second and spot round) of P.G admission will not be eligible for this round.

The candidates are eligible for the subject (s) in which he/she had appeared the entrance examination (CPET). The subject wise criteria will remain intact as per the Common Prospectus 2022. The earlier entered options will not be considered for PG vacant seat admission.

Timeline for P.G Vacant Seat Admission

Opening of correction window, availability of online common application form in the student login for updation of mark and reservation of P.G vacant seat through SAMS: November 1 to November 3 (5 pm)

Publication of candidate's total mark (CPET entrance mark + career mark): November 4

Detailed advertisement to be published by the Higher Education institutions regarding the dateline for submission of CAF, reporting of applicants, date of admission: Between November 1 and November 4

All the admission related activities (validation of CAF/selection/admission & collection of admission fees to be completed by HEIs: November 5 to November 21, 2022

Display of selection list by the respective HEIs, admission and data updation in the e-space: November 23 to November 25
