In a major announcement, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha on Monday informed that the results of the matriculation examination will be announced next month (May).

BSE President, Ramashish Hazra today informed that the matriculation results will be announced by the second half of May.

Already process is underway to publish error-free results this time. The evaluation of answer scripts has been completed and the tabulation process is currently underway.

According to BSE President, the tabulation and other process is usually lengthy and complicated process and efforts are on to complete all works at the earliest.

“Usually Matric results are published by May. We are trying to publish the results at the earliest and hopeful it will be published by May second half,” said Hazra.

As per Hazra, it is always an effort by the Board to ensure error-free results and this time too the focus will be given to this aspect.

Speaking on the issue of problems in question papers, the BSE President said that the students need not worry and they will be awarded marks.

The annual High School Certificate (HSC) Summative Assessment-II examination 2023 was conducted from March 10 to 20.

More than 5 lakh students appeared for the matriculation or the Class 10 high school certificate examination in 3,218 examination centres across the state.
