The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha is all set to begin the evaluation of answer sheets of students who had appeared for the annual high school certificate (HSC) Summative Assessment-II examination 2022 .

Apart from the Matric, answer sheets of Madhyama and the State Open School Certificate Examination (SOSC) will also be evaluated.

A total of 58 evaluation centres have been set up for the assessment process. The evaluators have already joined the centre, a day ahead on May 20.

As many as 481 chief examiners, 900 deputy examiners, 8919 assistant examiners and 930 scrutinisers have been engaged for the evaluation of the answer sheets.

After the evaluation of the answer copies, marks of the students will be uploaded, informed BSE.

BSE vice president Nihar Ranjan Mohanty had earlier said that the board will adopt a new procedure this year to ensure error-free evaluation.

The Matric exam had begun on April 29. A total of 5,71,909 students had registered for the High School Certificate exam . For the State Open School Certificate Examination (SOSC) and Madhyama examinations, 9378 and 4443 students had registered, respectively.
