As many as 57,918 candidates are set to appear for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2022 commencing Monday, July 4.

The computer-based test will continue till July 8 at a total of 61 centres across all the 30 districts of Odisha. Apart from that, one centre each in Kolkata, Ranchi and Patna has also been set up for the State’s premier entrance examination.

Of the total, 20168 candidates have applied for the entrance exam under Lateral Entry II B Tech while 12229 candidates have submitted application for B Pharma. Similarly, 10674 candidates have registered for MBA stream.

The exam will be held in three shifts from 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm every day except on July 7, on which, it will be held only in the first shift.

Candidates have been directed to report at the examination centres 1.5 hours before the scheduled time of the test.

OJEE authorities have made wearing of masks mandatory for the examinees. Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure proper social distancing at entry and exit points of the test centres besides, provision of hand sanitisation.
