The results of the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) were declared on Wednesday. Candidates can download their rank card by visiting the official website ojee.nic.in.

A total of 65,763 candidates had registered for the examination, while 49,360 candidates appeared the entrance test which was held from September 6 to September 18, 2021. Out of them, 49,279 have been allotted ranks in their corresponding courses as per their performance in the examination. 

While Piyush Chanduka emerged the topper in B.Tech, Laxmi Priya Senapati secured top position in B.Phram.

Similarly, while Ashutosh Rath emerged topper in MBA, Nishikanta Parida bagged the top position in MCA.

The exam was originally scheduled to be held in June. However, it was postponed in view of the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

The Entrance Examination was held for various technical, professional courses- B.Tech., LE-Tech. (Dip), LE-Tech (B.Sc), B. Pharm, MBA, MCA, Int. MBA. LE-Pharm, M. Pharm, M. Arch, M. Plan and M. Tech (11 specialisations) running in different Government and Private Institutes / Universities of the State for the academic year 2021-22.

The Entrance Examination was conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all the courses. 

OJEE - 2021 was conducted in all 30 districts of the State. The nine new places include- Bhawanipatna, Nabarangpur, Boudh, Nuapada, Deogarh, Puri, Kendrapara, Malkangiri and Sonepur. Three places outside Odisha- Patna, Ranchi and Kolkata- were also added for the conduct of OJEE 2021.
