According to the notification, in the practical subjects in which there is no provision for practical records like Indian music, drama, dance, musical instruments and song, the examinees are to be asked to prepare audio/video clips of three to five minutes duration each as directed by the subject teacher and submit through WhatsApp to the subject teacher.

“While awarding marks in these practical papers, the clipping submitted by the students shall be taken into consideration in lieu of practical records. The compilation of all such clippings will be preserved in soft format for at least one year for future reference,” the notification read.

Earlier on June 22, CHSE had set a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for school and college authorities for collecting practical records or project reports from Plus 2 students. In a letter written to principals of all affiliated Higher Secondary schools and colleges, CHSE Controller of Examinations had asked to avoid physical mode of collection of practical records/project reports.
