Odisha matric exam students
A discrepancy has been reported in the Science set-C question paper of the ongoing Matriculation examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), where students have alleged that they received four marks less than the designated total.
The issue was flagged by students and teachers, prompting an immediate review by the BSE, Odisha.
Confirming the error, the Board president acknowledged the mistake and assured that necessary corrective measures would be taken.
“A question carrying four marks was missing in the Science Sec-C question paper. There are two sections in the question paper- subjective and objective, carrying 50 marks each. The question was missing in the subjective section,” said Saraswati Khila, a student from Jeypore.

Echoing the same, Dikhita Dalai, another student said, “We had Science paper today. A long question was missing in the question paper. We informed the same to the invigilators; they told that we will be given grace marks.”
“The error, due to printing mistake, has come to our notice and we want to inform the students that we have already informed the same to the examination committee. The examination committee will take necessary action so that no student is troubled,” said Srikanta Tarai, BSE president.
