Odisha again revises transfer calendar for primary teachers; new dates and guidelines announced

In a significant development, the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA) has once again revised the transfer calendar for primary school teachers across the state. 

As per the new schedule, teachers seeking transfers either within the same district or to other districts are now allowed to submit their applications through the official portal by June 6.

Following the application window, the verification process will be carried out between June 9 and June 16, ensuring that all submissions are properly authenticated before proceeding to the next stage.

The much-awaited list of approved transfers will be published on OSEPA’s official website on July 18, 2025. Subsequently, the transfer orders and guidelines will be released on July 18 and 19.

This revision in the transfer schedule comes as a relief for many teachers who were awaiting clarity on their transfer status.
Authorities have urged all eligible candidates to strictly adhere to the new timeline and ensure accurate documentation during the application and verification process.

Revised Calendar of Activities for 2025-26

(For Inter-district and Intra-district transfer of Elementary Teachers)

Teachers to submit application on the portal: 15th May - 06th June 2025

Verification of proposals by BEO to DEO: 9th- 16th June.2025

Forwarding of proposals to Director (lnter-district):  17th-18th June,2025

Reference of Medical cases to Medical Board:  20th -21st June,2025

Receipt of reports from Medical Board: 30th June,2025

Uploading of reports of Medical Board: 4th -5th July,2025

Choice locking of transfer application: 7th-9th July

Publication of transfers in OSEPA website: 18th July,2025
