The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha is inviting applications through online mode for Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Entrance Test for the academic session 2022-23.
The entrance test will be conducted on February 18, 2022 from 10 am to 12 pm. Through the test, students will be selected for direct admission into Class VI and lateral entry to Class VII, VIII and IX in the vacant seats (category wise) in each Odisha Marsha Vidyalaya of the State.
The link for online registration will remain live from December 16, 2021 till January 13, 2022 midnight on the official website of BSE- www.bseodisha.ac.in.
“The registration can be done by the parents of the students. In case they are unable to do the registration, the OAV located within their block can be approached for doing the registration online,” the Board said.
The step by step instruction and general guidelines for admission of students in Odisha Adarash Vidyalaya (OAV) have been made available on the websites www.bseodisha.ac.in and oav.edu. in.
It can be mentioned here that the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya is an ambitious initiative by the Odisha government to provide quality education in English medium to rural talents of Odisha at no cost/nominal cost.
In all classes of OAVs there are two sections with intake capacity of 40 students in each section. The entry point to OAV is Class- VI through an Entrance Test and other conditions.
