The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday cleared the air surrounding the several social media messages claiming that individuals who vote in the General Elections to the Lok Sabha and have their fingers inked will be prohibited from entering examination halls of the examinations.

In its latest notice, the NTA termed such messages to be fake and baseless.

“The above messages are completely baseless and NTA has not issued any such instruction/guideline. Students are requested not to pay heed to such rumours and exercise their voting right,” said NTA in its notice.

According to NTA, voting will not affect their eligibility to take examinations.

The candidates are advised to focus on their studies and prepare for the forthcoming examinations. Apart from this, the candidates may contact 011-40759000 for any further queries regarding the NEET (UG) – 2024 examination.
