Amid the demands for cancellation of Class 10 and 12 Board exams, a fake news related to the Class 10 Board exam is currently making rounds on several social media platforms.

The government fact check agency, PIB Fact Check, has busted the fake news claiming that henceforth, there will be no Board exams in Class 10.

Sharing the ‘fake’ notification on Twitter, the fact check agency wrote, "A #Whatsapp message claims that according to the New Education Policy, there will be no board exams for class 10th... This claim is fake."

Further alerting students and parents about the same, it said that the Education Ministry has not issued any such order related to the cancellation of the Class 10 Board exams.

Earlier too, the fact check agency had busted one such fake news which read that 'the Board examinations for Class X and XII will commence from 4th May 2022 (Wednesday)'.

The government information agency shared the fake notice on Twitter and wrote, "A notification issued in the name of CBSE claims that Board examinations for class X and XII will commence from 4th May 2022. This claim is #Fake."
