The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Thursday released an important notice regarding the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) Examination.

National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Chennai is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The NTA has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the National Initiative for Technical Teachers Training (NITTT) Examination February 2024, for inductee teachers.

Brief details of the exam:

Date of the test: 10,11,17 and 18 February 2024

Duration: 3 hour (180 minutes)

Timings: Exams will be held in two shifts per day.

SHIFT- 1 (10:00AM - 1:00PM)

SHIFT- 2 ( 2:30PM – 5:30PM)

Pattern of the test: Online (Internet Based)-Remote Proctored.

Candidates are not required to visit any exam centre for appearing in the exam. They can take the exam from their location on their laptops/PCs.

Medium: English only

Issue of Admit Cards: Admit cards will be displayed on the NTA website on 30 January 2024

Date and timing of the mock test: 7 February 2024 (Wednesday) From 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Rules to be followed for the Online Proctored Exam:

Candidates are expected to maintain the sanctity and integrity of the exam and not resort to any unfair means.

Candidates are not allowed to keep any sheets of papers for noting down anything or for doing any rough work.

Candidates will be permitted to keep the following items with them during the exam:

i. Admit Card

ii. Valid ID proof

iii. Drinking water in a transparent water bottle.
