Not a single state pubic university from Odisha has made it to the list of top 100 educational institutions in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings released by the Ministry of Education on Friday.
Siksha `O` Anusandhan in Bhubaneswar bagged 30th position in the top 100 institutes in the country. Similarly, KIIT ranked 34 while the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela slipped to 39th position in the list.
Among other national institutes in Odisha, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bhubaneswar has bagged 65th rank.
In the university ranking, Utkal University, Vani Vihar with 42.27 score has been ranked in the 88th position.
On the other hand, Indian Institute of Science (IIS), Bengaluru has been adjudged the top university in the country.
Similarly, not a single government or private college from Odisha has featured in the list of the NIRF rankings 2022.
In the 2022 edition of NIRF India ranking announced by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is the overall best institution for higher education in India, followed by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore.
According to the NIRF ranking for 2022, the best medical college in India is All India Institute of Medical Science in Delhi, followed by Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh.
