NEET (UG)-2025
With the NEET UG 2025 examination fast approaching, aspirants across the country are entering the crucial final phase of their preparation. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the medical entrance test on May 4, 2025. Here is a structured last-minute guide to help students remain focused and confident.
In the final days, thorough revision should take precedence over beginning new topics. Focus on consolidating already studied chapters, particularly high-weightage topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Short notes, flowcharts, and flashcards prepared earlier can serve as quick revision tools.
Candidates must place strong emphasis on NCERT textbooks, especially for Biology and Chemistry. A large proportion of NEET questions are directly or indirectly based on NCERT content. Ensure that all important definitions, diagrams, and standard examples are thoroughly revised.
Daily practice of mock tests and previous years’ question papers remains critical at this stage. Allocate at least one full-length mock test per day under exam-like conditions. After each test, carefully analyse mistakes and work on improving time management strategies.
Last-minute preparation should involve a selective focus on chapters that have historically contributed a higher number of questions. In Biology, topics such as Human Physiology, Genetics, and Ecology are significant. In Chemistry, Organic Chemistry reactions and Physical Chemistry formulae should be revised thoroughly. Physics requires particular attention to Mechanics, Modern Physics, and Electrostatics.
Introducing new study material or complex topics at this stage may cause unnecessary confusion. Candidates should resist the temptation to explore unfamiliar books or online resources. Instead, reinforcing already acquired knowledge will build better exam-day confidence.
Physical and mental well-being are as important as academic preparation. Candidates must ensure they get 6–7 hours of sleep, eat light, nutritious meals, and take short breaks between study sessions to stay refreshed. Overexertion and irregular routines can negatively affect concentration.
It is crucial to be familiar with the NEET 2025 exam-day guidelines, including reporting time, required documents (admit card, valid ID proof, passport-sized photograph), and permitted stationery items. Planning logistics in advance can prevent last-minute stress.
